Given the teams that he has had over the years, he should have won more than a single ring. That Lob City Clippers should have won atleast a single chip, and that Clippers team who just lost that 3-1 lead at the bubble is such a bad look. Personally, I think he's a great coach but he is so overrated. Just like how George Karl is in the top in all time coaching wins, but hasn't won anything of great value with his teams.

Doc Rivers got a coach of the year his first season coaching, a ring, led the Clippers to 48 wins without Kawhi and PG13, and is top 10 all time in wins. The idea that he's been disappointing with one of the top 10 coaching resumes ever is absurd.

Hey, I understand your point but it's skewed. Yeah sure, black coaches sometimes underperform and all that but it shouldn't be like that. It's not that some black coaches doesn't do their jobs well, but it's just that some coaches are just not that good regardless of color and ethnicity. You feel me? Yes, there have been bad black coaches like Isiah Thomas and recently, Derek Fisher but it also goes the same way on the other side with guys like Rick Pitino and recently with John Beilein before J.B. took the job. Race shouldn't be looked at as a criteria on how a coach will perform at his job. Some coaches are great and some are horrible regardless of race. That way of thinking somehow dips into white supremacy stuff. Just like how the guys said that white coaches tend to look at like they're geniuses when they perform well while black coaches doesn't get the same love most of the time. Doc Rivers is probably the opposite as he tends to be overrated as he has fallen short many times but is still held at a high regard but so did Luke Walton when he stepped in for Warriors in the majority of the 73-9 season. He was looked at as a coaching genius then and look at him since. He hasn't even had an over 50% season as a head coach even with LeBron in his team. I hope you got my point that mediocrity shouldn't be attached to a certain race in a head coaching search or at any job really. All human beings have the same odds to be horrible at a job regardless of race especially if they are expected to be instant saviors in situations that are set to make them fail.
